Items arrived in a timely fashion and the order was complete. The upgrades were installed easily and the results are a big improvement over an already excellent 3D printer. I’m happy that I made the purchase.
A great expansion pack for Cetus. Postage excellent, only 4 days from Bejing to Belfast. Good instructions and add on pack easy to install. I had a crashing issue but Customer Services sorted it out immediately (allowing for time difference) – I have to use both power supplies at same time as the heated bed is drawing too much power.
Unfortunately the levelling probe is not great – it is brilliant when it works but I cant trust it so have reverted back to manual.
Heated bed is great, open up loads of possibilities. I’m working with ABS now, going to try flexible next.
Add on pack makes a brilliant printer even better. It may even be faster too.
The heated bed and power supply are very well produced and work perfectly. There are good instructions on the website which I needed to back up the instructional video. I rechecked the levelling of the Y axis as also described on the website and adjusted it without difficulty.
The perforated build plates are very efficient at holding the prints but I prefer to print without a raft so I substituted them with a heat resistant glass plate.
The sensor for the 9 point levelling system needed a small correction which the Tiertime Support Team helped me with. I found the sensor to be erratic at times but once I had good readings and set the print nozzle at the optimun height above the build plate I got perfect results with no raft required.
