The printer does a good job and is easy to use but.. shortly after I started to use the printer it stopped communicating via the usb. I contacted Tiertime and received an acknowledgement but no assistance so I started to investigate. First I replaced the main board which I thought was the problem but this made no difference. I then replaced the CPU board but again this made no difference and I was very out of pocket. Having eliminated everything obvious, I investigated the microSD card which the printer uses to store data. I couldn’t read it in a card reader so I replaced it with a blank formatted card. This worked and the printer now connects. As I said, it’s a good printer but support is poor and mine had a very strange fault which cost me a lot of money to identify. I now have some expensive spares!

I first saw this printer with a friend. She came to work with me to brag. I also have 3 printer models, of which Prusa, Delta and one SLA type. Although I had printed many models at that time, I was very impressed by the prints made by my friend with a Cetus 3D printer model MKII. This made me buy a standard MKIII printer. I am very satisfied with the quality of the printer. I also decided to buy the update packages for it, namely the digital screen and the heated bed together with the automatic leveling sensor. I warmly recommend the purchase! I will come back with new comments after I upgrade my printer.

Works pretty well. A little loud, seeing as I keep it next to my bed at night, but not that big of a problem since I’m a heavy sleeper.

High Quality parts, an improvement in the manual would be usefull

I am so glad I bought this printer, I bought it because I like like smaller printers, I have some cool ones, but the Cetus MK3 blows my mind, it’s prints better than most of my printers! Thanks Tiertime

By far the most accurate and repeatable printer for the price, if you make a lot of parts that require tight tolerances or figurines with ultra high detail, this printer is tuned and perfect. No futzing.

This is a great piece of hardware. I use it for larger prints mainly in Reflow PETG in our SATWARE//LABS. It performs very well and keeps the temperatures at the same level throughout the print. Stringing does occur in very small amounts so I’m a very happy customer. The direct drive extruder handles large spools (4,5kg) exceptionally well. This kit came with everything needed for my daily needs, even 3 different nozzle sizes were included.

The MK3 is a well made printer but…I will not use it until I replace the proprietary electronics. If you are using this printer and want to keep your privacy I would do the same. Don’t trust China!!!

I don’t like the SW UPStudio. Is has bugs and lacks flexibility.

Really great printer – quality prints consistently. I recommend the heated bed upgrade too. The only downside I’ve found is that you can’t print without a raft due to the design, but that’s really not that big a deal 🙂

I’m happy with the printer. The printing quality is good so far.
Unfortunately, 2 of the printed parts provided with the printer were very badly manufactured.
The leveling probe was bent (see picture), which made that the pressure sensor was not under the nozzle. Luckily I could rework it with a hot air gun.
The cover for the electronics behind the Z axis was really ugly and totally deformed (unfortunately I threw it before making a photo). I draw and printed a new one, which is much better.

The thing is great. First 3D printer I have owned. Only thing is I find that the auto generated supports are hard to remove, and I can only print with rafts on or the print slides around. Over all tho it is still great.

So far I am amazed with what I can do with this machine! No adhesion for flexible filament! My only three problems with it are wifi connection gets lost a lot, impossible to print anything with a 0.6 nozzle (software/g-code error) and I can’t print at full volume – even PLA warps for no reason.
